The co-hosts of The View recently discussed hot topics and interviewed Chandra Wilson and Paula Froelich.
One of the stars from the show Grey’s Anatomy, Chandra Wilson, and Page Six editor, Paula Froelich, discussed their current projects after the co-hosts of The View discussed hot topics. Hot Topics on the View Whoopi Goldberg was back from London and discussed the opening of Sister Act. Barbara Walters read some of the reviews, because Whoopi said that she never reads reviews. One of the reviews said that the cheers and standing ovation at the end were well deserved. The co-hosts talked about the proclamation from Jehovah’s witnesses that the end of the world is near. Sherri Shepherd, one of the co-hosts, talked about her past as a Jehovah’s Witness. She reported that this prediction is not new to the religion. Sherri said they’re certain things they believe people can do when the world comes to an end which entails being diligent and focusing on God. A man took hormone treatments for cancer and reported that he became menopausal with hot flashes, mood swings, and food cravings. The co-hosts reported that many women don’t discuss menopause and menstruation, because they don’t want it to become an excuse. Women don’t want men to think they can’t handle important careers due to mood swings and hot flashes. The women of The View discussed reality shows that feature people who used to be famous. Whoopi said that some stars will do what they have to do to feed and provide for their families. One of the women asked if it ultimately helps their careers to be on these reality television shows, and Whoopi said that she thinks it does help. She stated that celebrities who go on reality shows get offers to do more reality shows and sometimes get their own reality show. Chandra Wilson stars in Chicago During her summer break from Grey’s Anatomy, Chandra Wilson is starring in Broadway’s Chicago. She said that she would be starring in the play from the beginning of June until the beginning of July. Chandra discussed the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy and the women asked her who lives and who dies. She said that she didn’t know how the next season will play out. Page Six Editor Paula FroelichPaula Froelich, known as the editor of Page Six, released her first book, Mercury in Retrograde [Atria, 2009]. The book is about three different women who are brought together, because they live in the same building. The women of The View asked her what makes good gossip, and she said that an actual story makes great gossip. Paula discussed her view of Paris Hilton being a sociopathic liar.
